What is Fantasy Premier League?

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is an online game based on the real-life English Premier League (EPL). Participants create and manage virtual football teams made up of actual EPL players, scoring points each gameweek based on real match performances. 

The basics:

You act as the manager of a fantasy football team. 

You select a squad of 15 EPL players within a fixed budget: 

 • 2 goalkeepers 

 • 5 defenders 

 • 5 midfielders 

 • 3 forwards 

 • Starting budget is £100 million 

Each player earns points based on real-life performance: 

 • Goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, bonus points 

You can join public or private leagues.

Once that’s done, select your initial squad – or have one auto-selected for you. Then click “Enter Squad” and give your team a name. The process is guided and easy to follow.
