Time-Phasing the Forecast in Omega 365

17 February 2025
1 min read

When time-phasing the forecast, the system looks ahead from the current cutoff. The standard behavior in Omega 365 is:

  • Up to and including the current cutoff, the Actual Cost is displayed.

  • For future periods, the Forecast is shown.

However, in some cases, it is useful to compare against the previously reported forecast—i.e., "what used to be the forecast."

Based on user feedback, we have done some updates to reduce confusion and align better with users expectations.
